Partner 랑 3 가지 Greetings 하세요.

II. 어때/어땠어?

How is your day? It is...(형용사)

How are the kids? They are (형용사)
How are your children? They are (형용사)

III. What did You...?

What did you do last weekend? I went out with my family.
What did you eat for breakfast? I ate rice and soup.

IV. When did You...?

When did you get home last night? I got home at 2 in the morning.*
When did you study? I studied this morning.

새벽 1시 부터 6시 까지 는 (시간) in the morning 로 말해야돼

Basic Grammar: Should/Should Have

For should, please use only for benefit. If you do it, it’s beneficial. 
Subj + Should + Verb + __________________________

Q) What should you do?
A) I should sleep earlier.

Q) What should you do?
A) I should drink less.

Q) What should you do?
A) I should eat better.

Exercise:
Please make a dialogue using the should dialogue.

Use this format for regret.
Subj + Should Have + Verb ___________

Q) What should you have done?
A) I should have studied harder in high school.

A) I shouldn’t have drank too much last night.

Lie 는 동사 하고 명사로 사용가능.  Liar 는 거짓말 하는 사람 뚯입니다.  (He/She is a liar)

Lie (명사) Examples:

1. Don't tell a lie. -> 거짓말 하지마.

2. Women tell big lies. -> 여자들은 큰 거짓말 하다.

3. It's not a lie. -> 거짓말 아니야!

Lie (동사) Examples:

1. He lied to her. -> 그는 그여자 한테 거짓말 했어.

2. Politicians lie all the time. -> 국회위원들 항상 거짓말해.

3. He is lying. -> 그는 거짓말 하고있어.

오늘의 영어 260 Have/Do 미국어/영어 차이

Have not vs. Do not (했지않다) 여기서 Review:

My Theory:  왜 많은 한국사람들 영어적으로 #1 어려워요?  미국 영어 (미국어) 있고, 영국영어 (영어) 있고, 호주영어 남 아프리카 영어 etc etc etc.  일본은 토쿄 말있음, 한국은 서울 말 있음, 마레이쟈는 Kuala Lumpur 말있음, 영국은 런던 말있음, 미국은 "Official 말" 없읍니다. 그리고 한국/일본/중국 (북동 아시아) 하고 남동 아시아 비교 하면 영어 한 기준으로 배웁니다, 그래서 일본 남동 아시아 사람들은 일반 북동 아시아 사람보다 도 잘 하죠 (기본적으로), 저기서는 한기준으로 가르치니까 (영국 영어). 북동 아시아는 짬뽕 이죠, 케나다, 호주, 미국, 남아프리카, 뉴지렌드 사람들 다 영어 가르치죠?  영어는 다 같지않습니다.  한국말은 한국말이지만, 사투리 있죠!!!

Have  는 영국/호주/남아프리카/뉴 질렌드 (미국/케나다 빡에서 자주쓰는 말입니다.)

Do 적으로는 미국/케나다 적으로, 나의 Point 는 국제 적으로 영국 영어로 영어 공부합니다. (동북 아시아 빼고).

Example:

1. I ate breakfast. -> 아침 먹었어요.

I have taken breakfast. 

2. I went there yesterday. -> 어제 저기 갔어요.

I have gone there yesterday.

3. We didn't meet yet. -> 우리 아직 안만났다.

We haven't met yet.

4. They don't like it. -> 그들 그것 좋아하지않아

  They haven't acquired a taste for it.

5. I didn't drink in 2 weeks. -> 2주 동안 술 안마셨어요.

I haven't drunk in 2 weeks.

영어 책 읽을때 마다 I GET SO ANGRY!  왜냐하면, 저기 Example Dialogue 읽을때 마다 I ALWAYS NOBODY TALKS LIKE THIS!  진짜/현실 (Reality) Dialogue 아니야!!!  그래서 오늘은 진짜것 가르치고싶다!

Example:

한국 식당 들어갈때 "몇분?" 로 물어보시죠...영어로 여러가지 물어볼거에요...

A) 인사/Greeting (만약에 Host/Greeter 있으면)

a) How many in your party?

b) How many people in your party?

B) Waiter 의 말:

a) Would you like to hear about our specials?

b) Can I get you anything to drink?

c) Are you ready to order now?

d) Would you like to order now?

e) Can I take your order?

C) Customer (손님) 의 말:

a) What is the soup of the day? (만약에 안주는 Salad or Soup Choice 있으면).

b) What dressings do you have?

c) May I have some more bread/can we have some more bread?

d) I would like the...

i) Steak, well done.

ii) Salmon special

iii) Check (영수중/계산서)

e) May I see the wine list?

f) Do you have...

i) a smoking section?

ii) baby seat (or booster seat 로 자주 말해요).

iii) a children's menu?

iv) off-menu items?

D) Waiter 의 말 Part 2:

b) Is there anything else I can get you?

친구랑 말할때, Sometimes vs. Some Time 실수 많이 들어요.  오늘 이거 집중하자.  

Sometimes 는 가끔식, Some Time = 언제나, 시간 있을때 로 사용함!

Example:

1. Call me some time. -> 언제나 전화하세요 or 시간 있을때 전화 하세요.

We talk sometimes. -> 우리 가끔식 이야기해요.

2. Let's have a drink some time. -> 언제나 술한잔 하자.

We drink together sometimes. -> 우리 가끔식 같이 술 먹어.

3. Let's travel some time. -> 우리 언제나 여행 하자.

Sometimes I want to travel.  -> 가끔식 여행하고싶다.

4. Do you have some time? -> 시간 점 있어요?

Sometimes I don't have a lot of time. => 가끔식 시간 많이 없다.

5. I wish she would call me some time. -> 그녀 언제나 나한테 전화하기 바래.

Sometimes she calls me. -> 가끔식 그녀는 나 한테 전화해요.
